is all about
Story
Two Harkonnen sisters fight forces that threaten the future of humanity and found a legendary sect known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the stuff of science fiction. This episode uses material from Brian Herbert and Kevin J.
Anderson’s Great Dune School trilogy
The intro to the original Dune tells the story of how a Rossak sister became a Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is from the one called Mentats of Dune. The three books intertwine the development of the Sisters, Mentats, Navigators, and Doctor Suk.
You know what, I’m glad I did
Mentioned in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: The New Normal (2020). Okay, so honestly, I’ve been putting off watching it because every trailer seemed boring. Tonight, out of sheer desperation to watch something new, I broke down and decided to give it a try.
It’s really interesting
The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters. The biggest flaw is the pacing so far. The first episode really drags until the end, but I won’t lie, the ending was good.
Only time will tell
My only concern is that this might have the same problem as the rings of power. A lot of the buildup is due to lack of delivery. I’ll update this as soon as I can finish the entire series.
